Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra Presents Beethoven, Mozart and Higdon

Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra continues its tribute to the monuments of the music world, both past and present, at the March 28th concert held at Badger High School.

From the past, LGSO will present Beethoven's Third, the "Eroica" Symphony, a work where he breaks the known rules of music for his time and redefines what music can do. Mozart's Overture to Cosí fan tutte will open also be featured.

From the present, LGSO will perform "blue cathedral" by Jennifer Higdon. In this piece the use of Chinese bells and wine glasses are utilized to produce striking and innovative orchestral colors

This concert will be on Saturday, March 28, 7:30P at Badger High School Auditorium, Lake Geneva, WI.

The Lake Geneva Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt

This year The Lake Geneva Jaycees are having our annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 4, at Seminary Park. It starts promptly at 10:30 with age groups starting at 0-2 (with or without help), 3-4, 5-7, and 8-10.

We have over 4,000 eggs in the hunt and a raffle after the hunt for Easter baskets. The Easter bunny and McGruff the crime dog will be there as well.

If there is bad weather the venue will be moved to the YMCA and the hunt and raffle will take place in both gyms.

Then take a seat and create a bunny frame for your picture and pick some lollypops from our lucky lollypop tree. The teams can be 3 person teams, paired as 6-somes with men 1st nine from back tees (east), 2nd nine from forward tees (east) and women play forward tees twice (east). This is a 3 Hole events with an optional Team Skins. Post game there is a tailgate lunch buffet in the Pub at Evergreen Golf club. Team prizes will be announced for 1st, 2nd, and Random Draw.
