The Wizard of Oz-The Fireside Theatre

Over ten generations have grown up loving this classic tale of an enchanted land. Now The Fireside brings you an exciting stage adaptation of this legendary musical. It’s all there – the good witch, wicked witch, cowardly lion, tin man, scarecrow, and the young girl from Kansas in search of home. It’s a show for the entire family filled with eye-popping costumes, rib-tickling humor, breath-taking adventure, and an immortal musical score including the favorite hit song “Over the Rainbow.”

Enjoy a glass of wine as a professional artist guides you through the creation of an original piece of art in a relaxed atmosphere with music and friends! At the end of the session you'll take home a 16”x20” canvas originating with the class themed painting.

It goes from 4:00pm-6:30pm and costs $45 per person.

Evergreen Country Club Scramble Events

9:00 a.m. on Sunday and Saturday
Come down to Evergreen Country Club for a scramble. This includes 27 holes of golf and a cart and lots of great CASH PRIZES for 1st, 4th, 8th & 12th places. Our famous Evergreen Steak Cookout dinner is also included. The scramble must be made up of 4 person team events and start at 9:00am.

Inaugural Spring Thaw

The inaugural Spring Thaw consists of a 4 player team scramble event beginning at 10 AM on Sunday, April 19. The event features multiple prizes including cash payouts for 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 8th place teams along with a drawing for one “Exclusive Membership” for the 2015 season. Cash payouts for closest to the pin contest along with skins games are also featured. Be sure to stay after your round for the official Majestic Oaks release celebration to follow in the Champion’s Room!

Drawing on his thrilling marine expeditions, inspirational speaker Fabien Cousteau, grandson of the famous explorer Jacques Cousteau, shares stories of indigenous Amazon tribes, diving with whales, and pushing the limits of adventure to discover this bond we all share thru water, what it means, and why we should care. Presented by George Williams College of Aurora University, this Sundays at 4 event is part of the 2015 series of free concerts, presentations and lectures.

11th Annual Boat Bash and Ski Swap
Saturday, April 25, 2015 to Sunday, April 26, 2015
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Williams Bay, WI- Gage Marine will be hosting their 11th annual boat bash, and for the first time will also hold a summer ski swap over the same weekend. 2015 models of Mastercraft, Bennington, Boston Whaler, Monterey and Centurion along with pre-owned models will be on display and available for purchase. On-water boat demos will be offered to give you a true on the water experience. The Sales team will be available throughout the show to answer questions and arrange for demo rides. Novy Spinners will be performing for the first time at Gage Marine on Saturday, April 25th from 12:00pm until 4:00pm. Take advantage of the clearance sale on water sports equipment and merchandise from The Shops of PIER 290 and get a sneak peak of the upcoming seasons fashions. Kayak and SUP demos will be offered. Food and beverage will be available along with summer beer sampling. Raffles on great items will be held both days. Summer camp registration will be available.

Award-Winning Biographer of Celebrated Author Ray Bradbury to Speak

The Friends of the Lake Geneva Public Library welcome the public to attend their Annual Meeting at 6 p.m. at the Library. The Friends will host a program at 6:30 p.m. featuring Sam Weller, author of the award-winning biography The Bradbury Chronicles: The Life of Ray Bradbury. Weller will speak about the man behind the masterpieces, including Fahrenheit 451, and share the story of how he became the authorized biographer of one of the most celebrated authors of our time. After having unprecedented access to Bradbury’s personal archives, Weller will trace Bradbury’s remarkable creative journey through never-before-published letters and photographs.

Springtime at Old World Wisconsin

Springtime is a flurry of activity on our 19th- and 20th-century farmyards and homesteads, with lots of different seasonal chores and fun. On different dates we'll be shearing sheep, plowing fields, cooking (and sampling!) historic recipes, building and flying kites, watching for the arrival of our newest baby animals, and we welcome your help! Lake Geneva 2015 Kitchen Walk

Talented chefs will prepare delicious food in the beautiful kitchens of some of the premiere estates in Lake Geneva. This event benefits Waworth County Food Pantry, Open Arms Free Clinic and many others. Tickets are exchanged for itineraries at The Hunt Club at Geneva National 9:45 am to 11:00 am. The Wine Down is at Hunt Club at Geneva National from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
