Lake Geneva’s Annual Winterfest weekend featuring the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition featuring music, magic, refreshments, activities, helicopter rides, shopping and dining. Crowning of the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition Champion's Award, second, and third place are featured at this great event at the beautiful and famed Riviera on the lake front in downtown Lake Geneva.

Winterfest Ice Bar

The Baker House will be transforming their lakefront garden into a winter wonderland featuring their 5th annual 'FIRE & ICE LOUNGE'. Festivities will coincide with the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Competition and will officially begin Thursday, January 29th at sunset with the ringing of the mansion bell-tower and ceremonial first run of the vodka ice luge.

The brilliance of the 'Fire & Ice Lounge' will become heavenly with the appearance of 'Ice Angels' serving fireside drinks in cups made entirely of ice and for those who prefer something a little less chilly, there will be signature hot toddy's to sip while cozied up on fur covered benches near crackling fire-pits or in the "heated spectators lounge". "This year's icy extravaganza promises to be the most spectacular event yet, with a custom carved Ice Bar, created by Guinness Book record holder and international award winning artist Max Zuleta.

Winterfest Festivities at the Geneva Lake Museum

The Geneva Lake Museum has lots to do during Winterfest!  Open 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., special admission is only $5.00 for adults and children are free.  There will be horse and wagon rides departing from the museum from 1-5 p.m., an ice harvesting workshop from 4-5 p.m. and an ice boating workshop from 5-6 p.m.

The Cornerstone Shop & Gallery welcomes renowned artist William Nelson, whose work has been featured in major exhibits around the world, including the Smithsonian Institution and the National Gallery of Art. Nelson has completed paintings for private collections including Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward, Burt Reynolds, Morton's Steakhouse and Universal Studios, but Lake Geneva is one of his favorite subjects. He’ll sign copies of his limited edition “Winterfest” print and others.

Candlelight Hike

Human Dog Sled Competition Major Event

Take the reins and form your team for Lake Geneva's Human Dog Sled Race!  Teams compete against each other in a double elimination tournament to determine the winner of this two day event.  Races start at 7:00 p.m. on Feb 6th and noon on Feb 7th. Each team will consist of six people: including four sled pullers, a sled rider, and a sled pusher.  The sled race is approximately 135 feet long and takes place right on Lake Geneva's own Riviera Beach.  Team members are encouraged to dress in wacky costumes as there is a prize for the most creative attire.  What strategy will win? Sheer power or lightly built sprinters?  Put your team together and challenge everyone else to beat you ...all for a good cause and a lot of fun. Delavan will come alive with free winter fun during the 2nd Annual Sky Circus on Ice.  Presented by Gift of Wings and Winterfun Inc. and sponsored by the Delavan-Delavan Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and Lake Lawn Resort.  This extended weekend event will feature professional kite performances over Delavan Lake, plus ice carving and snow sculpting throughout the grounds of Lake Lawn and downtown Delavan.  A variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities will be planned around the kite performer's showcase. The Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra will hold its Valentine Gala concert and dance Saturday, February 14, 2015.

Experience memorable romantic orchestral works played by the Lake Geneva Symphony Orchestra, then enjoy the sizzling voices of Amy Yassinger and John Ludy Puleo paired up with the LGSO Swing Band to heat up your night.
