Porch, Parlor and Play

Spend an afternoon with your child or grandchild enjoying activities of the Victorian era.  The narrated boat cruise will highlight many of the interesting features of Geneva Lake.  While at Black Point Estate learn about eh daily life of the youngsters who vacationed here. Children, (and their parents), will participate in lawn games such as croquet and marbles followed by story time on the verandah and light refreshments.  Each child will receive a take home souvenir.  So leave your electronic devices behind and spend a day outdoors playing the old fashion way!  This program is best suited for children ages 6 through 12. Shake the Lake

Join us for a three day music extravaganza, under the stars, on the shores of Delavan Lake as we, “SHAKE THE LAKE”.
Festivities kick off Friday night at 6 p.m. with the outstanding Jimmy Buffet cover band, “Compass Rose. The evening is headlined by the Boat Drunks, a sensational band that has opened for Jimmy Buffet, the Beach Boys and Little Feat. The Boat Drunks are sure to get you on your feet movin’ & groovin’.
Saturday night starts at 6 p.m. with the band, Off The Record, a Milwaukee band that plays a variety of classic rock, blues, and country. Headlining once again are the Boat Drunks.
On Saturday night we will also have our 2nd Annual Boat Parade. It was a fantastic event last year and we are expecting an even greater turnout this year! To top it off we’ll be having our own fireworks over the lake followed by more of the “Boat Drunks”. The evening may never stop!
Sunday’s show starts at noon with Compass Rose followed by the Boat Drunks with a special appearance by the remarkable, Nadirah Shakoor, the featured vocalist of the Jimmy Buffet and Coral Reefer Band, a rare treat!
Special room packages are available but book early as this event is sure to sell out.
Daily tickets are available for only $15 per day or $35 for a 3 day pass

East Troy Electric Railroad Pizza Train

The East Troy Electric Railroad’s family-friendly pizza train offers a two-hour casual dining experience, taking riders from the railroad’s historic depot to Phantom Lake in Mukwonago and back. Dining is aboard former coaches of the Chicago South Shore & South Bend Railroad and includes pizza, beverage and garlic bread. Ticket price varies per number in party. Prepaid reservations are required.

Milwaukee Day

Home to the only remaining streetcar from the Milwaukee transit system still running the rails today, the East Troy Electric Railroad celebrates Milwaukee’s rich railcar history during Milwaukee Days. Joining the 1920 built streetcar, which once whisked residents from the greater Milwaukee area to the ballpark and shopping centers, is a 1907 line car equipped to respond to trolley emergencies. Also featured is L8, a stately locomotive built in 1935 that once provided track maintenance, brush-cutting services and was fitted with a snow plow to keep the tracks clear for line maintenance and freight service. Tours of the car barn, housing restored coaches and cars undergoing restoration, will also be featured during Milwaukee Day.
