Seven shows weekly with dinner theatre packages.
Through songs, stories, and dances – both traditional and original – we commit ourselves to capturing the very heart and essence of the holiday season with a show that will re-kindle the true Christmas spirit in all of us. Each show is new and exciting, with beautiful new costumes and settings, glorious singing and breath-taking dancing, and new ways to tell the familiar stories of the season. What never changes is our faithfulness to the traditions and memories of this most joyous of seasons.

Christmas in the Country Grand Geneva Resort & Spa Major Event

All-Day Event
Glorious celebration of lights, music, theater, cuisine and merriment begins with the illumination of a million and a half lights across the resorts 1300 acres of rolling countryside- one of the Midwest's largest lighting displays.  The five-week long festival continues inside Grand Geneva and features dozens of mechanical holiday displays, daily holiday teas, gingerbread houses and breakfast with Santa. Some of Broadways finest performers will take to the stage with live singing, accompanied  by choreography that truly sparkles, as they take the audience on a stroll down memory lane in  "A Christmas Portrait". Christmas in the Country-20th Annual Illumination Ceremony Major Event

Join Grand Geneva on Sunday, November 24, 2014 in the Forum Theater for the kickoff of the annual five-week long Christmas in the Country Celebration.  Roam the halls taking in all of the sights and sounds of Christmas and see more than two million lights illuminate for the first time this season followed by a Grand Fireworks display. Enjoy holiday cookies, hot apple cider and live music and interactive family activities will take place from 4:40pm-5:00pm with our favorite holiday characters.  Please bring a new unwrapped toy or article of clothing for Toys for Kids (kids in need range from infants to 18 years of age).

    East Troy Electric Railroad's Christmas Express Train

    11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Sunday and Saturday
    November 29, 30 December 6,7,13,14 The East Troy Electric Railroad celebrates the 42nd anniversary of the beloved Christmas Train as jolly St. Nick and Mrs. Claus ride the rails and welcome the holiday season in a style unique to southern Wisconsin.  Guests will board meticulously restored Chicago South Shore and South Bend Railroad cars, originally built in the 1940's for the 10 mile round trip jaunt along the century-old interurban trolley line linking East Troy to Mukwonago, WI.  The heated Pullman cars will be decorated for the event, which features caroling, story reading and an special visit by Santa, Mrs. Claus and cheery elves. >> see more

    Kick off Ceremony-Friday, December 5th- Visitors will experience the small-town joys of the holidays.  Events include a holiday story time at 5:30pm and tree lighting ceremony with Santa in Flat Iron Park. There will be a plethora of in-store events.
      Santa, His Elves and LIVE Reindeer-Saturday, December 6: Children are invited to visit with Santa, his elves and real live reindeer downtown Lake Geneva on the lawn of Starbucks from 11:00am-2:00pm, to share their wishes, capture photos and pet the reindeer.

    Children are invited to visit with Santa, his elves and real live reindeer downtown Lake Geneva on the lawn of Starbucks, on Saturdays from 11am to 2pm, to share their wishes, capture photos and pet the reindeer.  Santa will be strolling through the streets on Sundays in downtown Lake Geneva for that special "ho ho ho". >> see more

    Holiday Cookie and Biscotti Workshop

    Bring along the kids, adults and grandparents, as we share the Holiday Spirit by welcoming guest Chef Deb Lampert from Covenant Harbor, Lake Geneva WI to assist us in baking classic cookies and biscotti from around the world.
    Then we'll decorate assorted pastries with whimsical designs, brightly colored icings, sprinkles and sugar crystals. Continue to share the Holidays by taking some cookies and biscotti home to family and friends. Yum! Yum!

    39th Annual Great Electric Children's Christmas Parade Major Event

    Downtown Lake Geneva on Broad Street.  A holiday tradition!  Local businesses and organizations light up the street.  Be sure to stroll through town following the parade for holiday shopping and dining specials.   >> see more

    Music by the Lake presents Christmas Reflections at George Williams

    Music by the Lake will present a special holiday concert featuring the Music by the Lake Chamber Orchestra led by conductor Christine Flasch with guest vocalists and instrumentalists at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7. The program features inspiring music of the Christmas season including Baroque and classic masterpieces along with favorite carols and spirituals. The performance takes place in Lewis Hall on the George Williams College campus and is free and open to the public.
